Hall Rental Information
George Kirtley Hall

♦ Hall rentals are available on our Nautical (Upper Deck). Hall is licensed for 184 people with seating for 150 at competitive rates (see below).
♦ Reach out to our Head Bar Steward and Hall Rental Chair (Rose McGregor), Tuesday to Friday (2:00 PM to 6:00 PM). If unavailable during operating hours, please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible, you may also e-mail us at oshawa.navy.club@hotmail.com. ♦ Wedding receptions, business meetings, anniversaries, birthday parties, celebrations of life and functions. Bar Service as needed on request (Please contact the Club regarding “Jack & Jills” or “Stag & Does”).
♦ Well stocked bar with modest prices (licensed LLBO). If a desired product is not available, let us know and we will attempt to customize your request.
♦ Parking and ATM (cash machine on site) available.
♦ Air Conditioned (central air replaced 2023).
♦ Hall (floor and some walls) last renovated (2021-2022). Hall (bar) last renovated (2026).
♦ Galley (kitchen) may be used for preparation only. Crockpots or electric appliances are permitted. Two microwave ovens available for customer convenience.

Please note, if you are intending to book the hall for a family function, etc… Please do not delay as it would be most disappointing to advise that the hall has been already reserved.

We are open 5 days a week Tuesday to Friday between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Feel free to visit the Club if you wish to see the hall during operating hours.
Hall Rates and Deposit
(NOTE: payment methods are cash or cheque only)
♦ Non Navy Club Members, $400.00 (plus HST) includes Smart Serve bartender for 5 hours, $200.00 (plus HST) without bartender, deposit required and balance is due in full 30 days prior to function, otherwise booking may be cancelled. If booking is less than 30 days away, balance must be paid in full at time of booking. Note, the Club reserves the right to decline/cancel bookings.
♦ Oshawa Navy Club Members, please reach out to the Hall Rental Chair at (905) 723-0871 (or Head Bar Steward) for discounted member rates. Current Member rates are $300.00 (plus HST) includes Smart Serve bartender for 5 hours, $150.00 (plus HST) without bartender, deposit required and balance is due in full 30 days prior to function, otherwise booking may be cancelled. If booking is less than 30 days away, balance must be paid in full at time of booking. Note, the Club reserves the right to decline/cancel bookings. Not a Member, click here for an application.
♦ Required $100.00 damage deposit is refundable following the function (we may require a valid major credit card number as additional security). Valid ID, such as a drivers license, passport, etc.. may be required. IMPORTANT: If hall is left in unstatisfactory condition following your function, damage deposit will not be refunded.
♦ Weekday evening rentals with no bartender are $75.00 (plus HST).
♦ Weekend rentals are till 1:00 AM. $25.00 fee per hour following 1:00 AM.
