Welcome to “Perks Patio”
The Oshawa Naval Veterans’ Club’s patio was named in Robert (Bob) Perks’ honour by the Members of the Oshawa Naval Veterans’ Club in 2019. The patio is open for use year round. Bob was a long time active member of the Club and past president, Bob also served as Guard Commander of the Club’s Colour Guard. He also served in the CAF’s Navy during the Korean conflict. Sadly, Bob crossed the bar on June 11, 2021 at the age of 90. The Club was glad that he had the opportunity before his passing, to enjoy the patio named after him.
