  • 2025 Christmas holiday hours.

 

 

  • The Club wishes to inform that the Oshawa city council has voted to name the new downtown urban park/square that will be opening this fall to “Veterans Square”.  Military service associations in Oshawa had reached out to city council with their input into naming the new downtown space, including the Oshawa Naval Veterans’ Club.  Below is a copy of the correspondence between the Club and city council (click on correspondence for PDF copy), also below are some news links to the new downtown Oshawa square.  Thank you.

  • HUGE appreciation to the ladies that prepped, served, catered, donated and cleaned during our RCNA AGM Weekend.  Your time and dedication to help make the event so succesful has not gone unnoticed.

    Thank you Gloria, Lisa and all the wonderful folk at the Oshawa NVA.  Your kindness, patience and attention to detail were a marvel to behold.  There is no doubt what-so-ever that S/M  Ted Kibby is smiling and immensely proud.   Stephanie’s cooking will long be remembered. 

    Please say hello to Lieutenant Mark Scuse.  I hope to meet with you both again soon.  And please thank the Sea Cadet Corps for their participation in our event. I will contact them soon as well.  Thank you again

  • Please visit our ‘In Memorium‘ page for shipmates that have crossed the bar.  Thank you.

 

  • CALLING ON OUR GENEROUS SHIPMATES (we are still collecting) – Tis’ the season to be giving.  The Club will again be collecting non-perishable goods for the Simcoe Hall Settlement House Food Bank.  Please consider donating to this worthy cause.  Current items in need are:  dried pasta, small soup, granola bars, hot breakfast, small and large drinks, small and large treats, dry soup, peanut butter and jam, chunky stew, canned fruit, crackers, deodorant, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioners and razors.

Please bring items to the Club, in the containers by the Christmas tree in The Pat Chappell Mess.  The donations will be then brought to the SHSH.  We thank you for helping in this time of need.
